Mark Blaze

Mark Blaze is the President & CEO of the Nashville Technology Council. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at Groove Construction and spent 18 years as Regional President at Dex Imaging, where he led operations and high-performing teams.

Originally from Leeds, England, Mark came to the U.S. on a golf scholarship to Memphis State University, earning both his BBA and MBA. He became a U.S. citizen in 2017.

A dedicated community advocate, Mark serves on the board of Rocketown and is a past chair. He’s also served with the Nashville Predators Foundation, Special Olympics Tennessee, EEOG, and St. Jude’s Middle TN Council. His service has been recognized with the Nashville Emerging Leader Award and Rocketown’s Betty Dickens Lifetime Achievement Award. He has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) since 2010.

Mark and his wife, Tara, live in Brentwood with their blended family of six—lovingly called the “Blazey bunch.” In his free time, he enjoys golf, cheering on the Preds and Titans, watching soccer, enjoying great food and live music, and spending time with close friends. The Blaze family attends Midtown Fellowship Church.
